What is RAID?
You might have heard of the term RAID which defines types of storage set ups for hard disks. The most common are RAID 1 and RAID 5.
RAID 1 means that you have 2 hard drives that mirror each other
RAID 5 combines three or more disks in a way that protects data against loss of any one disk. The storage capacity of the array is reduced by one disk
